The company has been given the task of finding a new owner for the beautiful 72’ ketch “Lady Nathalie” which is berthed in Porto Montenegro Marina. As one of the two owners has moved to South Africa, and no longer uses the boat, it’s being put up for sale for the first time in 10 years. During their ownership, Lady Nathalie has sailed across the Atlantic to the Caribbean and cruised extensively in Europe.
Designed by Robert Perry, she is one of thirty two Scorpio 72 boats, being one of the last to be built in 1992. Originally designed for the charter market in the Caribbean, these spacious boats can easily accommodate 12 people staying on board. Yet the boat can be effortlessly managed by only two people. Apparently, one of the current owners cruised by himself with his wife and a new born baby for six months in the Caribbean without needing any extra crew. The other owner has regularly cruised in Croatia and Montenegro with just himself and his girlfriend.
The yacht is in good condition: a bow thruster was fitted four years ago, new sail covers, a bimini and spray hood last year, and a new genoa in the previous year. Even the dinghy has a new Yamaha 25hp four stroke engine.
The interior is very capacious for a boat of this size with two large double cabins aft, two twin guest cabins foreward, and the Captain’s/crew twin cabin on the port side mid-ship. There are four heads, and each has a shower. There’s also a cabin foreward that is currently used as storage, but could also be used as a twin berth. The galley has two fridges, a freezer, microwave and a 4-ring cooker.
But it’s the main saloon which is really spacious: even with lots of guests on board, there is plenty of room for everybody. The cockpit is also very comfortable, with the choice of being able to dine there as well. There’s a large area forehead on deck for sunbathing.
The yacht is driven by a Perkins 250hp diesel engine and has an Onan generator, with a water maker on board which hasn’t been used for some time. The owners have always taken the boat out of the water for the winter and the bottom is in excellent order.
Lady Nathalie is currently registered in Gibraltar and is ready to cruise the Adriatic, or further afield, for the very reasonable price of €350,000.
